This is a blog about human rights. Duh. We are two working women from suburban New England. Human rights are something we are both very passionate about, and we felt the need to try to reach a broader audience than our friends list on Facebook. We will be writing original blog posts, but we will also be reblogging other Tumblrs and posting links to other blogs.
We do accept user submissions. This can be anything from your own personal story of oppression, to a screen cap of your aunt ranting about the Mexy-kans on Facebook. We will probably accept your submission and add it to the queue;however, we reserve the right to deny your submission. While we will try to remember to contact you and let you know why your submission was denied and what you can do to fix it, but we can’t guarantee that we will. Feel free to drop a message into our ask box, though! We don’t bite!
The top two reasons submissions will be denied:
- You did not make the offender anonymous.
- It doesn’t fit in with what our tumblr is about.
If you don’t know how to make the offender anonymous, email the submission to us instead at humanismuprising@ymail.com and we can do it for you!
Now, in this Tumblr, we will be making it our top priority to be politically correct. We respect all human beings. If something we say offends you, please, let us know either in our ask box (you can ask us to answer privately, if you’d prefer that) or through email (again, that’s humanismuprising@ymail.com).
I can’t think of anything else to include off the top of my head, but I will leave an answer box below in case anyone would like us to touch on another topic. So, welcome to our little Tumblr and thank you SO MUCH for reading!
-Alisse
